Dr. Khan is an exploration geophysicist, interested in application of geophysical methods (reflection & refraction seismic, microseismic, gravity, magnetic, tompography, electrical resistivity etc.) for understanding subsurface geology (shallow & deep earth). Dr. Khan does research in Applied Geophysics, Solid Geophysics, Tectonophysics, Groundwater Hydrogeology and Underground Engineering.
Currently, researching on application of Microseismic and Acoustic Emission technology for underground engineering safety and feasibility studies.
